My Mountain Seasons series is inspired by the changing seasons of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The scene is taken from a photo view of the Blue Ridge, but the series is meant to be a color study abstract – with loose, organic watercolor evoking a mood, not a specific location.
Each piece is part reproduction, part original work. The series is created from archival giclée prints of my original paintings. Each is hand-cut and hand-assembled for a 3D effect.
